Bloodstone (Heliotrope)
Bloodstone is a stone associated with strength and courage. Its deep green base is flecked with red, as if carrying symbols of perseverance and sacrifice. It is said to help you stand up for yourself, cope with difficult situations and act calmly under pressure.
Color: red and green
Traditional associations: It is associated with energetic cleansing and immune support, and with stimulating lymph flow and metabolism. It is described as revitalizing the body and mind when exhausted, cleansing the blood, liver, intestines, kidneys, spleen and gallbladder, and supporting circulation.

Cleansing:
1. Place outdoors in sunlight for 4 hours.
2. Place in moonlight for 4 hours during a full moon.
3. Use sound, such as Tibetan singing bowls, the Om mantra or Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
4. Hold over the smoke of burning sage for 35 seconds.
